2022 BMW 8 Series Facelift

The BMW 8 Series Coupé Facelift will arrive in spring 2022
The BMW 8 Series LCI keeps the entire front camouflaged, without being able to perceive changes. Despite this, we can point out that the exterior image will be more sporty and aggressive, since the “M Sport” sports package will be standard . The air intakes will be of a more generous size and the ovoid grille will be painted black, preserving the vertical bars. The rear reveals the design of this pack more clearly, with the vertical openings at the ends of the bumper .

Despite having seen the interior completely exposed, this new sequence of images also allows a glimpse of the dashboard. The 2022 8 Series Coupé will not feature the large curved screen that is spreading across the model range, retaining the more traditional design. This area will receive occasional touch-ups, as well as the latest version of the iDrive software for the infotainment system , as well as driving assistants with improved operation.

The BMW 8 Series LCI will be presented at the end of the year, as its commercialization is scheduled for the end of spring 2022 . The two-door sports car will maintain the current offering of the 840i, 840d and M850i, with improvements that will achieve a little extra power, along with improved efficiency. In the absence of official confirmation, the first will equal the figure to recent models, going from the current 333 hp to 374 hp and the second will do the same, increasing from 320 hp to 340 hp. The automatic transmission will continue to be 8-speed , the “Steptronic.”
