**VinFast VF9 Facelift Patented in Australia: Is a Local Launch Finally Imminent?**

Vietnamese electric vehicle maker **VinFast** has taken a concrete step toward an Australian launch, filing a patent for an updated version of its flagship **VF9 SUV** with **IP Australia**. This marks the company’s first real market-facing activity in the country after years of promises and speculation.

The updated VF9, which first appeared in 2021, features:
