BYD’s Fang Cheng Bao has a new flagship SUV coming, and we’ve now got our first look inside the Ti 9.
The cabin gets a more upscale layout with a large floating center screen, digital instrument cluster, flat-bottom steering wheel, dual cooled wireless charging pads and plenty of storage in the center console.
The Ti 9 will be a large three-row SUV, with 5-, 6- and 7-seat configurations available. The third row can fold completely flat, which should make the cargo area much more useful when those seats aren’t needed.
It’s also getting serious tech. A roof-mounted LiDAR is visible, and the Ti 9 is expected to use BYD’s God’s Eye B driver-assistance system with city and highway navigation assistance plus automated parking.
Underneath, the Ti 9 will use BYD’s sixth-generation DM-i plug-in hybrid system, with a claimed 310 km of electric range on the WLTC cycle.
The exterior has already been revealed, so the next big step is the launch — scheduled for Q4 2026.
With 310 km of EV range and three different seating layouts, this could be one of BYD’s more interesting large PHEV SUVs yet.
