After years of radio silence, new reports suggest Ford is finally planning a **Bronco pickup** to compete directly with the Jeep Gladiator.

- **Production:** Expected at Michigan Assembly, which will reportedly become a dedicated Bronco facility (a Bronco-based Lincoln SUV is also rumored for 2029).

- **Powertrains:** Likely the current 2.3L I4 (300 hp) and 2.7L V6 (330 hp), with potential Raptor (418 hp) and hybrid variants down the line.

- **Features:** Standard Bronco off-road tech, including G.O.A.T. modes, Trail Control, and factory trail gear.

Ford declined to confirm, only stating they plan to refresh 80% of their North American portfolio by 2029 (including the new “Ford Fathom” electric midsize pickup).

Would you take an IFS Bronco truck over a solid-axle Gladiator?
