Next-gen Elantra interior spotted, and it looks like Hyundai is going all-in on a huge display setup this time.
Next-generation Hyundai Elantra spotted on the road
Caught a rear view of the fully redesigned Elantra during road testing.
Even with the camouflage, a few things stand out:
- Production-spec taillight layout appears to be taking shape
- Rear overhang and proportions look slightly different from the current model
- Wider stance than the outgoing Elantra
- Trunk and rear bumper design remain heavily covered
- Test vehicle was being driven in regular traffic, suggesting development is progressing steadily
Still too early to judge the final design, but Hyundai seems to be giving the next Elantra a more planted and mature look compared to the current generation.
Looking forward to seeing the front end with less camouflage.

Hyundai also showcased the new Elantra alongside the updated Grandeur, Ioniq 9, and other electrified models at the 2026 Busan Mobility Show.
