The updated Santa Fe is expected to feature a sleeker front end with slimmer headlights and a less aggressive grille, as well as a redesigned rear with vertical taillights connected by a horizontal light bar, and a relocated license plate for a more cohesive look.
Mechanically, the 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission is likely to be replaced by a traditional torque converter automatic due to customer complaints about the DCT’s performance.
Hybrid variants will retain their 6-speed automatic transmissions.

Hyundai is set to overhaul the Santa Fe model following negative reviews, with the facelift promising substantial updates.
The SUV, which has faced backlash for its design, is anticipated to feature a new LED daytime running light placement, a redesigned front grille, and vertical taillights.
The interior is expected to maintain Hyundai’s signature features, including a large central touchscreen for the PLEOS multimedia system and a new multifunction steering wheel.
The upcoming Santa Fe will offer hybrid powertrains, including HEV, PHEV, and EREV options, with the latter aiming for an impressive range of up to 900 kilometers without refueling.
