New Mercedes-benz S-Class Facelift Spied in China
The Mercedes Clase S Facelift is undergoing winter testing in northern Europe, revealing new design details for the 2026 model, which aims to enhance luxury and comfort while optimizing its engines for better fuel efficiency and emissions
The next iteration of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is poised to offer an interior that combines the brand’s innovative Hyperscreen technology with a return to physical controls for certain functions, catering to the preferences of its typically older clientele.
Spy shots reveal that the new S-Class, particularly in Maybach form, will maintain the large Hyperscreen display, which spans up to 56 inches and includes a passenger screen, while also incorporating tactile buttons for audio and cruise control.
This move suggests a strategic balance between cutting-edge digital interfaces and the familiarity of physical buttons. Exterior changes are described as subtle, with the introduction of star-design head and taillights seen across the Mercedes lineup.
Notably, the new S-Class will feature small cameras on the front fenders, potentially enhancing forward visibility or forming part of an advanced autonomous driving system.
The presence of Maybach branding, albeit partially concealed, hints at an exclusive limited edition model expected to be unveiled later in the year.
