that appears to form the basis for this prototype, given its unique front and rear end styling, along with the presence of a Timberline badge on the tailgate. Interestingly, however, the hood and running boards are wrapped in camp, while there’s also chrome trim present on the tailgate as well, which isn’t usually featured on this particular model. It’s unclear if this upcoming variant will indeed be called the Ford Expedition Raptor, nor if it will come equipped with the same hardcore hardware as other Blue Oval models that bear that nameplate. However, given the success that Ford has enjoyed with its range of Raptor high-performance off-road models, applying the same formula to the Expedition makes a ton of sense. Even so, the final product – if approved – could end up wearing a different name altogether.
