Ford’s latest teaser shows the new Ranger in a new wrap created by the company’s Design Centre in Melbourne. It combines blue, black, and white blocks in a pixelated pattern, inspired by mountain ranges.
Some of the blocks are reflective thanks to a second layer, making it more difficult to pick out exterior features in sunlight. The wrap that took two months to develop, integrates the #NextGenRanger hashtag and a QR code, for anyone that spots the prototypes in the wild.
Next-Gen Ford Ranger Spy Shots Show US-Bound Version In XLT Trim
It’s slightly different than the global model Ford revealed last year.
Photos show the North American-bound Ford Ranger in its XLT trim. The global version of the truck received a restyled lower fascia and more distinct grille. Ford hasn’t announced when we’ll get a full reveal of the US-bound Ranger, but it should happen soon.
It stands out for its all-terrain tires, skid plates, tow hooks, and ride height. The Tremor package is exclusive to the SuperCrew trim of the current-gen Ranger.
