Both the G82 M4 Coupe and G83 M4 Convertible will use the modestly revised headlight design that debuted on the luxury sedan, which was refreshed around a year ago on the ordinary G20 BMW 3 Series. We’re more intrigued in what will take place underneath the skin than we are in the taillights being renewed or the bumpers maybe receiving a gentle massage.
Many rumors claim that the standard M4 will increase its output to Competitive levels, producing more than the current 473 horsepower, creating room for a more potent M2.
There could be a slight power increase for the new M3/M4 Competition, but nothing too dramatic. BMW will want to have something in reserve for the following few years before M cars must transition to electrification because the S58 engine is designed to last through the Euro 7 emissions rules.
The M3 and M4 will both gain 535 horsepower, but only when equipped with AWD. According to the same user, the revised M4 Coupe and Convertible will go into production in March 2024. (these should be revealed late in 2023 or early in 2024). Regarding the updated M3, production is slated to begin in July 2024.
Uncertainty still surrounds the M4 CS, which may also be on the horizon. Yet, we have observed test mules at the Nordschleife. This is reportedly going to be produced between July 2024 and June 2025. Munich will hopefully confirm or reject some of these claims soon.
