The facelifted Formentor will follow in the footsteps of the Tavascan and adopt a love or hate front end.
The Cupra Leon Estate and all-electric Born are set to receive a mid-life refresh at the Nurburgring. The front features a new grille and LED headlight cluster, similar to the Tavascan SUV. The lower front bumper will also have new air intakes.
The side remains undisguised, but the Formentor may be given new alloy wheels and trim colors. The rear has been camouflaged to hide a new rear diffuser and side air vents.
The interior layout remains unchanged, with a 12-inch central touchscreen, wireless Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The touch-sensitive climate control slider will be backlit for night use, and the infotainment will receive updates similar to the VW Golf.
Expect to see the new Cupra Formentor make its debut early next year.
