The Lincoln Aviator is due for a mid-cycle refresh and this spy photo gives us an early look at what’s coming.
Camo covers do a great job obscuring the outline of the headlights, and that holds true for the lower fascia. There aren’t heavy covers at the back, and while camo wrap covers the entire backside, we believe just minor changes are coming around the taillights.
Sources say a center stack refresh is part of the mid-cycle refresh for the 2020-21 Aviator. A plug-in hybrid system and possible powertrain changes are also in the works. The Aviator debuted in 2020 with a 3.0-liter V6 engine and 400 horsepower (298 kilowatts).
I’m expecting the refreshed version to debut next year as a 2024 model.

A rendering of the 2024 model year Lincoln Aviator shows updated LED headlights, grille, and bumper. We don’t know if the Lincoln logo is backlit, though. The China-market Zephyr sedan boasts a backlit logo, as do the Navigator and Lincoln’s upcoming electric SUV.
