The spy photos of the new Mercedes EQG reveal an electric SUV.
All the machinery has been set in motion to face the challenging development process of the EQG, the electric alternative to the Mercedes G-Class . A model that in just a few years should be ready to storm European dealers.
The “heart” of the EQG will be a new silicon battery . A technology with which Mercedes hopes to revolutionize the electric car market. Conventional lithium-ion batteries will also be available in the range. The objective of the battery will be none other than to feed a total of four motors, one motor per wheel . A configuration that will not only provide power and off-road capacity, but will also be key to having a high level of agility.
The launch of the new EQG will take place sometime in 2023. However, to see it at Mercedes dealerships it will be necessary to wait until 2024.
