The Taycan Turbo GT is a high-performance variant with a massive rear wing and spoiler, the same front fascia as the facelifted variant, and a high-performance braking system with large drilled discs and black calipers with Porsche lettering.
Porsche has been tight-lipped about the prototype, but it is expected to slot above the Taycan Turbo S which has 750 hp (559 kW/760 PS) and 774 lb-ft (1,048 Nm) of torque when using Launch Control.
Rumors suggest the car could be equipped with a tri-motor all-wheel drive system that produces around 1,000 hp (746 kW/ 1,014 PS). This would enable the Taycan to more closely battle the Tesla Model S Plaid, which has 1,020 hp (761 kW/ 1,034 PS). The electric American can hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in 1.99 seconds and top out at 200 mph (322 km/h), while having an EPA estimated range of 396 miles (637 km).
