Morgan has introduced a new, yet-to-be-named sports car that will serve as the brand’s flagship model.
This vehicle, which is not a direct replacement for the Morgan Plus Six, is equipped with a turbocharged BMW straight-six engine, similar to the one found in the BMW Z4 and Toyota Supra.
It is built on Morgan’s new CXV platform, which is an evolution of their bonded aluminium platform, offering a lighter and stiffer structure than its predecessor.
The car is said to feature a range of new technical features and engineering enhancements, aimed at delivering greater dynamic performance and driving enjoyment.
While the initial images released are not fully representative of the final production design, they suggest that the new Morgan will maintain the brand’s traditional aesthetic while incorporating aerodynamic influences.
