Bentley aims to launch a electric or plug-in hybrid models every year until 2035.
The design will evolve from the brand’s traditional look, and the interior will feature advanced technology while retaining physical buttons for essential functions.
The SUV will be built on the VW Group’s PPE platform, with a focus on delivering a unique driving experience and fast charging capabilities.
Bentley is preparing to launch a smaller, luxury urban SUV in 2026, which will be its first fully electric vehicle, sitting below the Bentayga in the lineup.
The vehicle is expected to feature Bentley’s signature lighting and a flat nose, with the production model likely to differ from the camouflaged test mule.
It will be underpinned by the same PPE platform as the electric versions of the Porsche Cayenne and Macan, as well as the Audi A6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron.
Despite the introduction of this new EV, Bentley will continue to offer the Bentayga, Continental, and Flying Spur models, indicating that the EV will serve to expand the brand’s portfolio.
