The upcoming high-performance variant of the 2026 Bentley Continental GT Speed is poised to build on the existing model with significant aerodynamic enhancements.
Captured during testing with UK plates in Germany, the new derivative distinguishes itself with a prominent rear spoiler, front canards, and a unique quad exhaust system.
Despite the lack of official naming, it is speculated to be a spiritual successor to the Continental GT Speed RS or Supersports, focusing on improved performance and handling.
The vehicle’s weight-saving measures and advanced braking system, including carbon-silicon-carbide brakes, suggest a emphasis on track-ready capabilities.
With a 0-60 mph time of 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 208 mph, the new model continues Bentley’s tradition of combining luxury with high performance.
Bentley is preparing a brutal farewell to combustion engines with a new Continental GT Supersport, spotted testing around the Nürburgring and on public roads. The model will serve as the swan song for the brand’s ICE era before Crewe transitions fully to plug-in hybrids and EVs.
Unlike the recently introduced Continental GT Speed PHEV, which combines over 800 hp but carries extra weight, the Supersport dials things back to basics. It will use a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, tuned to around 640 hp, and—most notably—ditch AWD in favor of rear-wheel drive. Reports suggest the rear seats may also be removed for weight savings, turning the coupe into a more hardcore two-seater.
Spy shots show a prototype with massive drilled brakes, forged wheels with center-lock hubs, and the most radical feature yet: a giant fixed rear wing, never before seen on a Bentley. Aerodynamic tweaks, including a revised front bumper and carbon aero package, are also expected.
The 2027 Continental GT Supersport will likely debut before the end of the year. Whether it will be offered as a limited-run model remains unconfirmed, but its performance focus makes it the most extreme road-going Bentley ever.
