Chery’s iCar brand has introduced the new iCar V27, a mid-to-large size off-road SUV, at an international event in Dubai.

The vehicle boasts a robust, boxy design with off-road capabilities, featuring a two-tone grille, oval-shaped LED headlamps, and a sturdy front bumper. It maintains the brand’s signature styling and is equipped with an extended-range powertrain, combining a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with an electric motor.

The V27, which is nearly 5 meters long, will be available in both rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations, with the latter offering a combined output of approximately 449 horsepower. The SUV is expected to provide an all-electric range of about 200 kilometres under the CLTC standard.

Positioned as the flagship of the iCar lineup, the V27 is set to hit the Chinese market by the end of 2025, with a price tag ranging from 200,000 to 250,000 yuan.
