2026 KIA Ceed

KIA is ramping up development of its next-generation Ceed. Recent spy shots captured near the technical center in Rüsselsheim, Germany, have revealed the outline of the new 2026 Ceed.

The design is markedly different from the current model, strongly reflecting KIA’s latest design language. The silhouette bears a striking resemblance to the K4 unveiled last spring.

Key features:

  • Vertically arranged headlights
  • ‘T’-shaped daytime running lights
  • Boomerang-shaped taillights
  • Extended wheelbase and length
  • Lower body for a more dynamic and sporty appearance

The interior is expected to feature two large 12.3-inch displays adorning the dashboard and center console.

The powertrain lineup will include gasoline and diesel engines, along with hybrid (HEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) options. The PHEV model is expected to achieve an electric range of over 100 km.

The fourth-generation Ceed is currently under development with a target launch in the second half of 2025, positioning itself as KIA’s challenger to the Volkswagen Golf.
