The Kia Stonic, a budget-friendly crossover, has undergone a substantial redesign to enhance its image.

The vehicle now sports a more mature look, aligning with Kia’s current design language, featuring new vertical headlight blocks with LED daytime running lights, revised bumpers, a repositioned radiator grille, and updated taillights.

The interior has also been refreshed with a new dashboard, steering wheel, climate control panel, and a combined digital instrument cluster and touchscreen multimedia display, each measuring 12.3 inches in higher trims.

The Stonic retains its turbocharged 1.0 T-GDI engine, now also available with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, offering both manual and dual-clutch automatic transmission options with front-wheel drive.

The GT-Line variant adds sportier styling and larger exclusive design wheels. Despite the updates, the powertrain options have not expanded beyond the existing choices.

The updated Stonic is expected to hit the market soon, with pricing yet to be announced, following the model’s stable demand in Europe.
