The upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLC with EQ technology is set to be a significant advancement in the brand’s electric vehicle lineup.
This new model, which can be referred to as the GLC EQ, is distinct from the conventional gasoline-powered GLC and the previous EQC. It boasts a longer wheelbase for increased interior space, a substantial trunk capacity, and an additional front trunk (frunk).
The vehicle supports 800V fast charging, allowing for a 260 km range with just 10 minutes of charging, and has an impressive towing capacity of 2,400 kg. The GLC EQ is expected to offer a range of over 700 km on a full charge and will likely include both two-wheel and four-wheel drive options, with a potential high-performance variant from Mercedes-AMG.
The design of the GLC EQ has been updated with a more conventional look, featuring higher-positioned headlights and a less streamlined nose, as part of Mercedes-Benz’s revised design approach for electric models.
