Mercedes-Benz is currently developing the next-generation V-Class/Vito van. The recently revealed spy photos show a test vehicle in the mule stage, retaining most of the existing body while incorporating a few changes.
Key changes:
- Completely new front-end design - flatter nose
- Changed taillight design
- Relocated license plate - moved to the upper part of the tailgate
- Widened wheel arches, suggesting a new platform
- Closed-off grille and lack of exhaust pipes - possibility of an electric powertrain
The interior will feature a new dashboard, center console, gear shifter, steering wheel, door trims, etc., along with the latest technology and semi-autonomous driving systems. The German automaker will likely equip it with leather upholstery in higher specifications.
The next-generation V-Class/Vito is not expected to launch before the second half of 2025, and it will likely be available in the United States for the 2026 model year.
