New spy shots of the Nio Onvo L90, codenamed “Blanc,” showcase a heavily camouflaged, large electric SUV designed for large families, with an expected launch in Q3 or Q4 of 2025.
The L90 is anticipated to offer a three-row seating arrangement, providing more space than its predecessor, the Onvo L60.
It is rumored to share the same battery options as the L60, with questions about its range due to its size.
The SUV’s design is expected to retain elements from the L60, and the lack of a LiDAR bulge suggests it may not include Nio’s advanced autonomous driving hardware.
The L80’s pricing is set to be competitive with the Tesla Model Y in China, positioning it as an affordable alternative to Nio’s premium models. Nio aims to strengthen its global presence with the L80, targeting 25 countries by 2025.
