A different go-faster prototype was caught on camera the following month, and that car has returned to the Nurburgring with more go-faster enhancements.
Porsche is developing an extreme, high-performance variant of the Taycan, possibly a tri-motor ‘GT4 RS’, which appears to be a niche product with uncertain market demand.
The Porsche Taycan GT4 RS, a new specification expected to surpass the Turbo GT with the Weissach Package, has been sighted with aggressive aero modifications.
These include a prominent front splitter, canards, wheel well vents, and aerodynamic guides reminiscent of the 911 GT3 RS.
The vehicle’s rear features a massive wing and diffuser, with the potential for Manthey Racing-inspired aero discs.
Testing in Sweden, the Taycan GT4 RS is reportedly targeting a lap time in the 6-minute range at the Nurburgring, outperforming the current Turbo GT’s 7:07.55 time.
The expected high cost of the GT4 RS reflects its extensive performance upgrades, including weight reduction, suspension refinement, and chassis enhancements.
