First model to roll off the production line.

Volvo has announced the upcoming EX60 electric SUV, which is poised to break the 500-mile range barrier, a significant achievement in the EV industry.

The EX60, built on Volvo’s cutting-edge SPA3 architecture, will feature cell-to-body technology, allowing for a lighter, more efficient vehicle with increased cabin space.

With up to 502 miles of range on a single charge, the EX60 slightly surpasses its competitors, the BMW iX3 and Mercedes GLC, in terms of distance capability.

The vehicle will also support ultra-fast charging, adding 210 miles in just ten minutes.

Design-wise, the EX60 will maintain a family-oriented approach, similar to the current XC60, with a sleek new look that includes Volvo’s signature ‘Thor’s Hammer’ headlight design.

The full reveal is scheduled for January 21st, with pricing and specifications expected to follow shortly thereafter.
