The Zeekr 9X Grand, a new flagship SUV from Geely Group’s Zeekr brand, has been officially revealed in China.
This vehicle, previously known by its codename EX1E, is described as an “ultra-luxury flagship SUV” and is expected to enter the Chinese market with a plug-in hybrid powertrain in the third quarter of 2025.
The 9X Grand is a large SUV with sturdy proportions, a high beltline, and design elements reminiscent of a Range Rover, including a flat roofline and slanted D-pillars.
It features modern touches such as flush door handles and a LiDAR sensor on the roof. Although detailed specifications are yet to be disclosed, the 9X Grand is confirmed to be the first model equipped with Zeekr’s Super Hybrid system, which integrates BEV, PHEV, and EREV technologies.
The vehicle’s market entry in China is highly anticipated, with potential debut at the Shanghai Auto Show and an expected price tag exceeding 1 million yuan (approximately 140K USD).
