2027 Bentley Flying Spur mk3 2nd Facelift

At first glance, this prototype looks quite ordinary, but as usual, the devil is in the details. As our spy photographer cleverly noted, there are entirely new headlights on deck, which look very similar to those of the latest Conti. And in order to notice them, you will have to realize that they are partially covered in stickers meant to replicate the looks of the current clusters. We should also note that the grille appears to retain its size, but the pattern is new, Moreover, the front bumper also appears to be entirely new. It is home to a very wide intake on the lower end, and a pair of vents below the headlights. The Flying B mascot still decorates the car’s nose. The real taillights are hidden beneath more stickers at the other end, and the rear bumper and elegant skirt under it are likely new as well. There is nothing special about the wheels of the scooped car, as far as we can tell. The interior of this Bentley Flying Spur appears to be under wraps, suggesting that more updates will occur here. We cannot be entirely certain of what the company has prepared for the cockpit of its latest iteration flagship sedan, but if we were to guess, we’d say that maybe new dual screens, or at least new software. Still, the cabin will most likely retain its elegant look overall, and the rotating display in the middle of the dashboard should still be a thing. That’s our two cents and you shouldn’t quote us on that.

Bentley is preparing a visual refresh for the Flying Spur to match its recently updated hybrid powertrain, with spy shots revealing disguised front and rear lighting units.

Key Details:

  • The Flying Spur’s body structure remains largely unchanged, but new front and rear light designs are being tested, likely borrowing design language from the Continental GT’s single-piece units
  • The revised front end will include a new front valance and wider mouth, similar to recent Continental GT updates
  • The car continues to use Volkswagen Group’s MSB platform, shared with the Continental GT and Porsche Panamera
  • Current powertrain options (771bhp and 671bhp outputs) are expected to remain, combining a twin-turbo V8 with a 188bhp electric motor
  • There’s uncertainty whether the powertrain will receive recalibration to improve emissions, potentially shifting power output toward the electric motor

Why It Matters: The facelift brings the Flying Spur’s exterior design in line with its modern hybrid internals, ensuring the luxury sedan’s visual presentation matches its contemporary engineering.
