2027 BMW Speedtop

Our spy photographers caught a production-intent prototype doing its thing at the Nurburgring, and the good news for expecting customers is that nothing has changed from the concept, While it may be exaggeratedly camouflaged by its maker, the real thing features the very same winglet-style hidden door handles. The shark-nose fascia carries over as well, as do the central spine (that runs from the nose to the rear spoiler) and the gorgeously tapering roofline, Slim headlights, an illuminated kidney grille with horizontal strakes, and the muscular haunches are pretty much unchanged from the concept as well. Equally theatrical, its gradient paint job makes the Speedtop all the more special. On the roof, the Floating Sunstone Maroon hue nicely transitions to Floating Sundown Silver to accentuate the vehicle’s dramatic rooflinem, Twin oval exhaust finishers are neatly integrated into the rear bumper. The double-spoke wheels of this prototype, however, don’t mirror the design of the concept’s multi-spoke wheels. On closer inspection, you will further notice tan leather upholstery that BMW sources from the in-house saddlery department.
