BYD Denza coupe spy photos exposed, might be released next year.
The images of the rumored upcoming coupe version of the BYD Denza have been made public on Chinese automotive social media.
According to pictures of the vehicle on the road, the new Denza model uses a shooting break-style appearance, and the body’s overall stance is relatively low. Over the rear windshield, there is also a sizable spoiler.

Denza may be building an absolutely insane Z9 GT performance wagon.
A heavily modified prototype has been spotted in Europe with a massive front splitter, wider arches, aggressive aero, huge rear wing, roll cage and upgraded brakes.
The regular Z9 GT already makes 1,140 hp and does 0–62 mph in 2.7 seconds, but this prototype could borrow tech from Denza’s upcoming Z models, potentially pushing output far higher.
A nearly 2,000-hp electric wagon might actually happen.

Denza apparently looked at the regular Z9 GT and its 1,600+ hp and thought, “Yeah, not enough.”
This is the Z9GT Xtreme testing at the Nürburgring, and they’re not even bothering with camouflage. Probably because there’s no realistic way to hide that aero anyway.
Huge front brake cooling ducts, an absolutely massive carbon rear diffuser, and a swan-neck rear wing that looks more GT3 car than luxury EV wagon. The diffuser is so aggressive there barely seems to be anywhere sensible to put a rear license plate.
The interesting part is what could be underneath.
The regular Z9 GT is already claimed to make 1,604 hp and 1,240 Nm, with 0–100 km/h in 2.25 seconds. The Xtreme is rumored to use a tri-motor setup related to Denza’s Z Di-Aero P2000+, potentially pushing output to around 1,973 hp.
Nothing official yet, so take the 2,000-hp talk with a grain of salt.
But the timing is interesting. Porsche’s Taycan Turbo GT with the Manthey kit recently ran the Nürburgring in 6:55.533.
Looking at the aero on this thing, it’s hard not to wonder if that’s exactly what Denza is targeting.

And more importantly: does 2,000 hp even matter if the thing weighs a ton more than the Porsche?
