Key Details:

  • The Formula S is FCB’s first sedan offering, measuring 5,060 mm long with a 2,950 mm wheelbase, weighing 1,999-2,250 kg depending on trim
  • Entry-level RWD models feature a 245 kW (329 hp) rear motor, mid-level RWD gets 300 kW (402 hp), and top AWD trims use a 490 kW (657 hp) dual-motor system
  • The sedan includes a roof-mounted LiDAR unit and BYD’s DiPilot 5.0 assisted-driving system, with both models featuring Blade Battery 2.0 and Flash Charging technology
  • Interior spy shots reveal a velvet red cabin with an FCB-badged steering wheel and side-bolstered front seats
  • The Formula S GT wagon variant is slightly shorter at 5,025 mm but heavier at 2,170-2,280 kg due to increased interior volume
  • Both models share design language with the Denza Z sports car, featuring aerodynamic elements like front splitters and rear diffusers
  • FCB plans to expand these models internationally under the Denza brand, building on the sub-brand’s strong domestic performance (26,361 units delivered in May 2026)

Why It Matters: The Formula S and S GT mark FCB’s diversification beyond its current off-road SUV lineup, introducing performance-oriented sedans and wagons to strengthen the brand’s market position in China’s competitive EV segment.
