2027 Dacia Sandero

Dacia is set to expand its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of an electric Sandero by late 2027.

This move comes as the brand continues to focus on the successful rollout of its hybrid Sandero models.

The decision to electrify the Sandero, Dacia’s best-selling vehicle, aligns with the company’s strategy to adapt to the evolving automotive market and EU CO2 emission regulations.

Dacia’s CEO, Denis le Vot, has indicated that the brand will also introduce two more electric vehicles by around 2030, suggesting that an electric Duster or a model similar to the Bigster could be in development.

The upcoming electric Sandero will join the Spring as part of Dacia’s growing EV portfolio.

The Dacia Sandero is undergoing a facelift for its 2026 model, with a focus on exterior design updates, LED lighting, and potential electrification of its powertrain, including mild-hybrid technology and a possible fully electric version.

The Dacia Sandero, a popular model in Spain, is set to receive a substantial update in 2025, with the introduction of new technology and mechanical improvements.

Spy photos captured by photographers show a less camouflaged test of the car, indicating that the design changes are nearing completion.

The updates are significant as they represent a mid-life refresh for the third-generation Sandero, with a focus on modernizing the vehicle’s exterior and interior features.

The new Sandero is expected to include a larger infotainment screen and new equipment options, aligning with the latest design language of Dacia.

Additionally, the vehicle will feature hybrid technology, including a mild-hybrid option and a self-charging hybrid variant, positioning it as a strong competitor to other vehicles in its class.
