2027 Honda 0 SUV

The prototype of the Honda 0 SUV makes its debut in the Japanese GP.

Honda’s upcoming electric SUV has been spotted testing again in India, and this time we get our best look yet at the interior.

The prototype, believed to be based on the Honda 0 Alpha concept, features a large landscape-oriented infotainment display alongside a fully digital instrument cluster. The cabin also appears to adopt a cleaner, more minimalist design than current Honda models.

On the outside, the SUV keeps its upright, boxy proportions with concept-inspired lighting, including rectangular LED headlights connected by a slim black panel and vertically stacked taillights.

Honda has confirmed the EV will be built in India for both domestic sales and exports, with a launch expected in 2027. It will compete against models like the Hyundai Creta EV and Tata Sierra EV.

More importantly, Honda says it’s changing its strategy for India by developing products specifically tailored to local buyers after admitting its previous global approach didn’t fully meet customer expectations.

What do you think of the design so far? Would you consider this over the upcoming Creta EV or Sierra EV?
