Honda’s rumored Avancier has been spotted testing again in Japan, this time revealing its front-end design for the first time.
Key details from the prototype:
Longer body than the current CR-V, with a clear three-row SUV profile
Slim split-headlight design similar to Honda’s recently shown Hybrid Sedan Concept
Large multi-spoke wheels and a premium-focused appearance
Rear quarter window suggests a spacious third row and larger cargo area
According to reports, the new SUV is expected to replace the Odyssey in Japan after the minivan ends production. It’s also rumored to share its platform and hybrid powertrain with the CR-V e:HEV, while offering a more upscale interior.
The Avancier is reportedly targeting a debut as early as the 2026 Guangzhou Auto Show, with sales expected to begin in 2027.
