Jeep confirms in a new roadmap the future Jeep Renegade

The Jeep Renegade could be making a comeback in Europe for 2027, this time with a bigger footprint and a much broader range of powertrains.
Nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but this rendering imagines the second-gen Renegade keeping its familiar boxy shape and seven-slot grille, while adopting slimmer lighting and some design cues from newer Jeeps. Rumors suggest it could grow to around 4.30–4.35 meters long, neatly slotting between the Avenger and Compass.
The bigger change could be underneath. The old FCA Small Wide platform is expected to make way for a newer Stellantis architecture, potentially STLA One, opening the door to 48V mild-hybrid, full-hybrid and fully electric versions.
The EV could reportedly offer around 350–450 km of range, with both LFP and NMC batteries being discussed. An electric AWD version with a second motor at the rear is also possible.
Again, most of this is still speculation and the images are renders, not leaked production photos. But a slightly larger, boxy Renegade with hybrid and EV options could fill an interesting gap between the Avenger and Compass.
