Redesigned in 2022, the GLC prepares for a mid-cycle refresh that brings forth the star-motif signature lighting introduced by the redesigned CLA. But weirdly enough, the first prototypes of the facelifted GLC donβt have starry taillights. Pictured in GLC SUV and GLC Coupe flavors, the facelift is masked up front exclusively. In addition to revised front lighting units, we can also see that Mercedes-Benz designers worked their magic on the radiator grille and bumper. An interior update should be on the menu, especially when you remember that the CLA is available with a passenger screen.
Any idea when the facelift will be launched?
No official U.S.-specific release date has been confirmed by Mercedes-Benz USA as of early 2026, but the global rollout suggests U.S. dealer arrivals in late 2026 or early 2027, consistent with model year introductions. Note that this facelift is distinct from the fully electric 2027 GLC EV model, which has received more official attention.

The Mercedes-AMG GLC undergoes a subtle facelift, as evidenced by spy shots of the 43 prototype with minimal camouflage, hinting at new star-shaped LED daytime running lights and potential updates to the infotainment system and interior.
