Subaru is testing a weird WRX “longtail” at the Nürburgring
Up front, it looks like a regular WRX. Out back, it has extensions on the rear quarter panels, a matching lip spoiler, and a different diffuser. Almost looks like someone started building a WRX longtail.
There aren’t any obvious brake upgrades or larger intakes, so there’s not much here to suggest an STI comeback. Could be an aero test, another special edition, or parts Subaru plans to offer separately. Nobody seems to know yet.
Interesting that they’re experimenting with this instead of just bolting on a bigger wing.
