2028 Aston Martin Vantage Track-Focused Version (RS)

this Aston Martin Vantage was recently caught undergoing testing at the Nurburgring. Our spy photographers have noticed the more aggressive aero, and to be honest, this would have been enough for any gearhead to take their phone out and snap a few images of the model. After all, it does look like a more track-focused version, and it is one that has gone down the plumbing route.

Aston Martin is preparing a new high-performance Vantage variant that dials up the aggression with track-focused styling and enhanced performance capabilities.

Key Details:

  • A production-ready prototype was spotted at the Nürburgring featuring a redesigned rear end with a centered four-tailpipe exhaust system, refined diffuser, and prominent rear wing
  • The front end includes a wider grille with updated air curtains and a more pronounced carbon fiber lip compared to the standard Vantage
  • The car rides on 21-inch wheels with Pirelli P Zero R tires and features larger front brake calipers for improved stopping power
  • Interior updates are expected to include lightweight sport seats, carbon fiber trim, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster paired with a matching infotainment system
  • Powertrain details remain unconfirmed, but the model is expected to outperform the Vantage S, which produces 670 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque from its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8
  • The car may be called the Vantage AMR or RS and is expected to launch in 2027

Why It Matters: This hardcore variant represents Aston Martin’s commitment to delivering a more extreme, performance-focused alternative within its Vantage lineup, targeting enthusiasts seeking track-capable dynamics alongside luxury engineering.
