The Mitsubishi Triton/L200 could be getting a pretty significant facelift around 2028.
There are no spy shots yet, but these renders imagine the pickup adopting styling from the recently revived Mitsubishi Pajero, which itself shares its underpinnings with the current Triton. That means a much bolder front end with vertical headlights and a full-width LED light bar, plus redesigned taillights and tailgate.
Underneath, the current Triton already rides on Mitsubishi’s newer ladder-frame platform and uses a 2.4-liter 4N16 turbodiesel, available with up to 204 hp and 470 Nm (347 lb-ft).
The interesting part is what could happen after the facelift. Mitsubishi may increase output and potentially add hybrid variants as the Triton moves through the second half of its lifecycle.
Again, these are renders rather than leaked images, but a Pajero-inspired face actually seems like a pretty natural fit for the Triton.
