Genesis has unveiled redesign of the GV80 and Genesis' first coupe-like SUV, the GV80 Coupe

The Genesis brand has unveiled a partial redesign of the GV80 and Genesis’ first coupe-like SUV, the GV80 Coupe.

The GV80 is the first SUV of the Genesis brand, which has led the domestic luxury SUV market with cumulative sales of more than 170,000 units in the global market since its launch in January 2020, providing differentiated value through the perfect combination of premium sensibility and cutting-edge technology.

The new GV80 is the first partial redesign in more than three years and nine months, and while it inherits the dynamic and fluid design of the original GV80, it has been reborn with a spacious interior with a modern feel and a variety of amenities that provide a new mobility experience.

The GV80 is characterized by ▲ an exterior that adds luxury details to the elegance and style of the existing car ▲ an interior that adds high-tech sensibility to the ‘beauty of the margins’ ▲ and safety and convenience features that provide a comfortable driving experience.

On the same day, Genesis also unveiled the GV80 Coupe, the brand’s first coupe-type SUV.

The GV80 Coupe is a luxury SUV that maximizes dynamics based on the Genesis brand’s design philosophy of ‘Athletic Elegance’ and has been attracting a lot of attention from customers around the world for its striking design since the concept model was unveiled at the Genesis House in New York in April this year.

The GV80 Coupe inherits the elegance and strength of the base car, while maximizing the dynamic and sporty sensibility with ▲ an exterior with a dynamic and bold silhouette ▲ an interior that embodies high-tech and sporty sensibilities ▲ additional operation of a gasoline 3.5 turbo 48V electric supercharged (e-S/C) engine with 415 horsepower ▲ and differentiated design and performance applications unique to the coupe.
