As testing continues, our spy photographers have shared some new photos of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS being thrashed on the road and Nurburgring, and it’s starting to look production-ready.

Its development has already accumulated more than a year and a half since the first prototypes with the production configuration in tow were sighted, a long time that is being taken for this competition model with street homologation to be perfect, surpassing itself once again. The 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 RS will offer a very aggressive front end, and the big proof is the openings in the front hood panel, along with a bumper with a large grille. The oversized front wheel arches house ventilation gills and functional aerodynamics to increase the load on the front axle .
Nothing has been left to chance Porsche, as well as the rear image, much more impressive despite the fact that the bumper remains hidden but leaves the two central exhausts and the diffuser visible, in addition to the enormous fixed spoiler with manual adjustment that focuses all attention . in the rear Porsche is aware that weight is a key in this model, so it mounts 20-inch forged alloy wheels at the front and 21-inch at the rear, with central locking nut and carbon-ceramic brakes.

An undisguised example of the forthcoming 992-generation Porsche 911 GT3 RS has been spied on the roads around the Nürburgring, providing a first look at the frankly astonishing aero package it’ll feature when it’s officially revealed later this year.
This latest 992 generation 911 GT3 RS takes the theme of more aero and less weight to the extreme compared to its forebears, with significant new aero elements to rival Porsche’s current 911 GTE PRO class racer.
As well as its extreme aero, Porsche is expected to offer the new 911 GT3 RS with a brand new and ultra-high performance Pirelli tyre option called Trofeo RS. As the name suggests, this forthcoming track day-biased option will sit a step above the already sticky Trofeo R, giving Pirelli a rival to Michelin’s Cup 2R.
