The latest generation, named K3, has been introduced initially as a sedan and later as a hatchback.
A speculative design of the Kia Rio as a station wagon has been rendered, showcasing similarities with existing sedan and hatchback models, particularly in the rear design. The station wagon concept features unchanged lanterns for cost efficiency, a larger luggage door for easier loading, and a unique bumper design. Notably, the station wagon is envisioned in the iconic golden color of the first-generation wagon.
In terms of size, the concept station wagon closely mirrors the sedan, measuring 4545 mm in length, 1765 mm in width, and 1475 mm in height, slightly taller due to roof rails. The wheelbase is 2670 mm, compared to the Kia Rio sedan’s dimensions in the Russian market. This conceptual design hints at a possible new direction for the Kia Rio series.
