The Tesla Model Y “Juniper” has made its debut in China, marking the first release of this updated model globally.
Priced starting at $35,950, the new SUV offers two trim levels and is set to begin deliveries in March 2025.
Despite a higher price point than its predecessor, the Model Y Juniper boasts a refreshed exterior with a Cybertruck-inspired front end, improved aerodynamics, and a minimalistic interior equipped with a 15-inch touchscreen and advanced AI4 assisted driving hardware.
The vehicle’s powertrain options include RWD and 4WD variants, with the RWD model featuring a 220 kW electric motor and a 593 km CLTC range, while the 4WD variant offers a combined power output of 331 kW and a 719 km CLTC range.
