Xiaomi appears to be preparing an even crazier version of the SU7 Ultra, potentially called the SU7 Ultra Extreme.
A camouflaged prototype has been spotted in China with some serious aero upgrades. The biggest giveaway is the massive swan-neck rear wing, which could feature DRS, along with a much larger rear diffuser. Up front, there are new aero elements and vented wheel arches designed to reduce front-end lift and improve stability at speed.
The prototype also gets new lightweight wheels, yellow fixed brake calipers and carbon-ceramic brakes, while carbon-fiber mirror caps and the roof-mounted LiDAR remain.
But the wildest rumor is the powertrain. Xiaomi is reportedly developing a new four-motor setup producing up to 2,054 hp, and this limited-run SU7 Ultra could be one of the first models to use it.
For comparison, the current SU7 Ultra already makes 1,548 hp from three motors, hits 100 km/h in a claimed 1.98 seconds excluding rollout, and can exceed 350 km/h.
If the 2,000+ hp figure is real, Xiaomi isn’t just upgrading the SU7 Ultra — it’s basically turning it into a road-going version of its track-focused prototype.
